Introduction

White fused alumina is a kind of artificial abrasive. 3 oxidation 2 aluminium (Al2O3) content over 99%, and the composition such as containing a small amount of ferric oxide, silicon oxide, white. Product size according to the international standard and national standard production, granularity processing according to user requirement. Gm grain sizes of the F4 ~ F220, its chemical composition depending on the size of the particle size. Outstanding characteristic is little impact resistance, crystal size in the mill processing, particles are spherical particles, the surface dry clean, easy to bond.

Application

White fused alumina is the most economic grinding material suitable for both dry and wet production technology, and it’s especially suitable for the processing of rough surface. The hardness of this artificial synthetic material with sharp appearance and edges and corners is second only to diamond, and is often used in the occasions where here’s strict requirements on iron pollution. It can cut hard materials, and also can be made into sphere to processes the workpiece with precise size, so as to achieve very low roughness. Its high density, sharp, angular structure make it the most rapid cutting abrasive.
It has good self-sharpening, naisuanjian corrosion, high temperature resistant, thermal state performance is stable. Its hardness is slightly higher than that of brown fused alumina, and its hardness toughness is slightly lower, but it has better purity, good self-sharpening, high grinding ability, low calorific value, high efficiency, good thermal stability, acid and alkali corrosion resistance, and high temperature resistance. Grinding tool made with white corundum sand is suitable for grinding high carbon steel, high speed steel and stainless steel fine-grained abrasives. White corundum sand can also be used for precision casting and the production of advanced refractory brick.
